This is quite a different comic both in story and illustration. I could describe this as an “Art Comic” but I don’t want to put anyone off. It just shows the variety of writing you can find in comic books these days. Despite the kidnapping, child killing, suicide, etc. it’s actually a quiet, thoughtful story with a twist I didn’t see coming. The artwork is beautifully simple and has a warm brown monotone palette. This would make a good introduction for someone who has never read a graphic novel or who thinks they are all about superheroes. Thumbs Up!
